Things You Should Know Before Buying Memory Card

Everyone of us buy memory cards. May be these for camera or for your smart phone. When we go for buying a card we find himself in dilemma because there are same memory card in different prices.

In this post we will discuss about this price difference and which you should buy that will be perfect for your device.

Actually memory cards are available in market in three different sizes. One is Full-size SD card. Second one is small SD card which we use in our smart phones. Third one is mini SD card. These cards comes in three different categories which are “SD”, “SDHC” and “SDXC”.Normally which memory card we use, called micro SD card is usually 4GB.

Micro SD card is not available in more than 4GB. Bigger than 4 GB card is called SD HC (SD High-Capacity). These card may be possible from more than 4 GB to 32 GB.When we needed to bigger than 32 GB , than we buy third type of card which called SDXC. These cards are available more than 32 GB to 2 TB. Although 2 TB cards are not available yet. So these are different categories according to size.

But which is best ? let’s talk before their speed category. 

They are Class 2 , Class 4, 6 , 10 and UHS 1, UHS 3. If any card Class will be more higher , its speed of writing files will be more higher. As Class 6 can support 6 megabytes per second if you put any file on it but UHS 1 and 3 can go up to 320 megabits per second.

Which memory card is best for you , it depends on your type of usage. If you want to store songs and movies than better for you to use Class 4 card or you want to save and copy HD stuff then better to use Class 6 Cards.For 4k video recording UHS 1memory card is good.
